Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) strongly condemned the alleged raids on the homes of two sitting provincial ministers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including National Assembly member Zubair Khan Wazir, and his subsequent arrest. They demanded an impartial investigation into the incident.

According to a PTI statement, police conducted a raid at the residence of Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Syed Fakhar Jahan and took action against the home of Provincial Irrigation Minister Riaz Khan in Buner. It was reported that unidentified persons surrounded the home of MNA Muhammad Zubair Khan Wazir, holding his family hostage for several hours before taking him into custody following an exchange of fire with police.

PTI termed these actions as an attack on democracy, parliamentary sanctity, and the rule of law, demanding action against the involved officials.

Junaid Akbar Khan expressed strong condemnation on social media platform X, questioning the motivation behind raids on political opponents' homes through unidentified persons, which violated privacy and dignity. He asserted that such unconstitutional tactics would fail to suppress political voices and exacerbate the existing situation.
