“What a brilliant formula, Mr Rana!” the analyst sarcastically said, offering similar examples to mock the minister’s explanation.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2026) Renowned journalist, columnist and analyst Javed Chaudhry strongly mocked and criticised Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat over his explanation to schoolchildren about littering and cleanliness.
During his programme on Sama tv, Javed Chaudhry quoted the minister as saying during a school visit: "Do you know why litter is thrown? Because we throw litter. If we do not throw litter, litter will not be thrown."
Taking a sarcastic tone, Javed Chaudhry said Rana Sahib had presented such a brilliant and astonishing formula that he deserved praise. He added that, as the education minister, Rana should also have told the children that students fail at school because they fail.
Comparing the minister’s logic with other ridiculous examples, he said that, according to the same reasoning, "a person becomes wet because he gets wet, and someone trips because a stumble occurs."
Javed Chaudhry concluded by saying that the education minister could only be applauded for such "high-level logic and philosophy."
