ANF Seizes 24.57 Kg Of Drugs Worth Over Rs 2.7 Mln In Two Operations
UrduPoint (01 September, 2026) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted two operations across the country on Tuesday, apprehending two individuals and recovering a significant amount of drugs.
During an international drug interdiction operation at Peshawar Airport, 970 grams of ice were found in the baggage of a passenger travelling to Bahrain. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
In a separate domestic operation near Rawalpindi‘s bus terminal, ANF recovered substantial quantities of illegal substances: 13.2 kg of hashish, 8.4 kg of opium, and 2 kg of ice. An accused was also apprehended during this raid.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigations are underway.
