Aqib Khan Condemns Firing On Rescue 1122 Ambulance In Darazinda
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2026) Provincial Minister for Relief Aaqibullah Khan on Sunday strongly condemned the firing on a Rescue 1122 ambulance in Darazinda, expressing condolences to the families of the martyred rescue personnel and sympathies with those injured in the incident.
In a statement, the minister said Rescue 1122 personnel performed their duties to save human lives and provide emergency services without caring for their own safety. He termed the targeting of rescue workers and an ambulance during an emergency service a highly deplorable act and said such personnel and emergency vehicles must be provided protection while performing their duties.
Aaqibullah Khan directed the authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured rescue personnel and prayed for their early and complete recovery. He said the sacrifices of the martyred rescue personnel would not go in vain, adding that the government would take all necessary measures to ensure a safe working environment for Rescue 1122 personnel.
The provincial minister appealed to the nation to pray for the elevation of the ranks and forgiveness of the martyred personnel and early recovery of the injured.
