Arrest Warrants Against KP CM Sohail Afridi Upheld in Nov 26 Protest Case

The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has upheld arrest warrants against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and others in the November 26 protest case.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case, during which the court issued arrest warrants for the accused who failed to appear. Proceedings to declare Sohail Afridi and other accused proclaimed offenders are also ongoing. The court rejected applications seeking exemption from personal appearance filed by the accused.
The court directed the police to submit the challan against Sohail Afridi and others at the earliest and adjourned the hearing until September 30. A case against Sohail Afridi and others has been registered at Margalla Police Station.
