Arshad, Akbar Ayub Assure Justice for Slain Ayat Noor
HARIPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary education, Arshad Ayub Khan and KP Assembly Chief Whip Akbar Ayub Khan visited the residence of slain five-year-old Ayat Noor in Haripur and offered Fateha.
They expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. They assured the family of full support from the provincial government and stated that every effort would be made to provide them justice.
Akbar Ayub Khan mentioned that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi had taken strict notice of the brutal murder and directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team to investigate the case. He added that the provincial government would not rest until those responsible for the killing were brought to justice and punished according to law.
Arshad Ayub Khan stressed that the tragedy should not be politicized and urged political and social circles to stand with the grieving family on humanitarian grounds. He also emphasized the need for effective measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
