Arts Council Karachi Hosts Naatia Mushaira to Mark 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal
The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi hosted a “Naatia Mushaira” at the Josh Malihabadi library, Ahmed Shah Building, in connection with the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. The literary gathering was held with great reverence and devotion, bringing together renowned poets and writers who expressed their love and devotion to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through their poetry.
The Event:
The Mushaira formally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Naat Khuwan Yousuf Siddiqui presented verses of devotion, while Shakeel Khan performed the duties of the compere.
Notable Poets:
Renowned poets, including Prof. Sehar Ansari, Anwar Shaoor, Tariq Sabzwari, Wazahat Naseem, Fatima Hasan, Farasat Rizvi, Khalid Irfan, Ambreen Haseeb Amber, Rehana Roohi, Aqeel Abbas Jafri, Naseem Naazish, Rukhsana Saba, Khalid Moeen, Khalida Uzma, and Ahmed Jahangir, participated in the Mushaira and presented their Naatiya poetry.
Through their heartfelt verses, the poets expressed their profound love and devotion to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
