ASI Among Two Freed, Four Militants Killed in Kurram Operation
Police and security forces conducted an operation against militants and kidnappers in the Taralai area of Central Kurram, rescuing two abductees, including an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of police, while killing four militants.
According to police, the operation was launched based on intelligence reports on Wednesday. The ASI, Muhammad Khan, and a local resident, Wajid, were safely recovered during the operation. An exchange of fire ensued between security forces and militants, resulting in the deaths of four militants.
The operation was successfully completed, and search and clearance operations are ongoing in the area to locate any remaining militants.
