They are cowards, which is why they are serving time in prison; had they been brave like you, they would have reached Jeddah or London through a deal, Irshad Bhatti said.

Analyst's Statement

In a post on X, Bhatti stated:

“Ataa Tarar sahib! They were absolutely unprepared; that is why your preparations broke all records of fascism.”

He further added:

“If you have the courage, come and hold a long march.”

Continuing Criticism

Bhatti continued, emphasizing their lack of preparation:

“Ataa Tarar sahib, they were absolutely unprepared; that is why your preparations broke all records of fascism. And indeed, they are cowards, which is why they are serving time in prisons. Had they been brave like you, they would have reached Jeddah or London long ago after striking a deal.”

Call for Courage

He concluded with a call for courage:

“And for your information, have the courage to put up nails on the remaining roads as well, because the long march has not ended; it has been postponed. The long march will now be held on October 4.”

Federal Minister's Response

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataa Tarar dismissed the PTI’s long march announcement, calling it a “mountain laboured and brought forth a mouse.” He criticized Sohail Afridi's leadership, stating:

“Sohail Afridi had been ineffective at the administrative level and was now politically irrelevant as well.”

Tarar's Arguments

Tarar claimed the PTI made no preparations for the march and that the date was arbitrarily chosen. He highlighted the party's alliance with terrorists and their reluctance to condemn such groups.

“We say unequivocally that we will completely eliminate terrorists. I am ready to lay down my life for Pakistan, but the PTI is not even ready to say this.”

He questioned the PTI's handling of terrorism funds, asserting that the party's strength had never been as low as it is now.
