Kanwal Saeed Elected FWCCI President Unopposed

(Faisalabad, APP - UrduPoint) (26th Sep, 2026) Kanwal Saeed of Ibrahim Technical Training Institute was elected as president of the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) unopposed for the 2026-28 tenure.
According to a FWCCI spokesperson, Kanwal Saeed, Samia Tahir of Mubashir Weaving Factory, and Dr Sania Arshad of Sahil Limited had submitted their nomination papers for the positions of FWCCI President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President respectively for 2026-28.
As per the election schedule and rules, September 24, 2026 was the last date for submitting nominations for top positions at FWCCI. The nomination papers of all three candidates were scrutinized and declared valid by the FWCCI election authorities. As no other nominations were received for any of the top three positions, they were therefore provisionally and unofficially declared elected unopposed.
However, the final and formal announcement of their unopposed election will be made on September 29, 2026 during the FWCCI Annual General Meeting, added the spokesperson.
