ATC Issues Arrest Warrants For KP CM Sohail Afridi and Others in Four Cases

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 11, 2026) : An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Thursday issued arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Khan Afridi and other PTI leaders in four additional cases registered in connection with the November 26 protest.

ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain issued the warrants on police requests in cases registered at four different police stations of Islamabad.

  • In FIR No. 1032 registered at Kohsar Police Station, arrest warrants were issued against five PTI leaders, including Sohail Afridi, Shahid Khattak, Salar Kakar, Saddam Tareen and Amjad Ali.

  • In FIR No. 974 of Ramna Police Station and FIR No. 1193 of Karachi Company Police Station, non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against Sohail Afridi, Junaid Akbar, Shahid Khattak and Atif Khan.

  • Similarly, in FIR No. 1228 registered at Aabpara Police Station, arrest warrants were issued against nine PTI leaders, including Sohail Afridi, Junaid Akbar, Shahid Khattak, Atif Khan, Meena Khan, Shafi Jan, Naseem Ali Shah, Iqbal Afridi and Abdul Ghani.

The police submitted that all the concerned accused were wanted in the cases and their arrests were required for investigation.
