Attock Police Arrest Two Suspected Drug Peddlers, Recover Over 4kg Hashish
Attock police arrested two suspected drug peddlers during separate checking operations and recovered a total of 4.05 kilograms of hashish from their possession, police said on Friday.
According to police, Assistant Sub-Inspector Qamar Abbas of Jand Police Station, along with his team, intercepted Amir, son of Atlas Khan and a resident of Kohat, during routine checking and recovered 3,000 grams of hashish from his possession.
In a separate operation, Assistant Sub-Inspector Tahir Ali Khan of Attock Khurd Police Station and his team arrested Muhammad Ahmer, son of Ghulam Abbas and a resident of Gujrat. Police recovered 1,050 grams of hashish from his possession during checking.
Police said both suspects had been taken into custody and cases registered against them under relevant laws. Further legal proceedings were under way, while police continued efforts to curb the supply and distribution of narcotics in the district.
