Quetta (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st Sep, 2026) – Provincial Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, launched an initiative to provide modern and high-quality books to libraries of 21 male and female colleges in Quetta.
In a dignified ceremony held at Government Postgraduate Girls College, Quetta Cantt, books were distributed among principals of girls’ colleges marking the first phase of the program.
Minister Durrani emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting education through initiatives like providing books to libraries, alongside scholarships, buses, and laptops. She highlighted the importance of quality books in enhancing students’ academic, research, and intellectual standards.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Hussain Baloch, Saadia Farooqi, Sabahat Azmat, Saeeda Niaz, and principals of various colleges, among others.
