Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar strongly reacted to the arrests of opposition parliamentarians and family members of PTI founder Imran Khan. He warned that detaining members of the National and provincial assemblies and family members at this time would further worsen tensions in the country.

In a statement on social media platform X, he addressed those in positions of power, saying their people and parliamentarians were being arrested without justification. He called upon them to calmly review the country's worsening political situation.

He expressed that no condemnation would be enough for the arrests of Uzma Bibi and Noreen Bibi, or the detention of other women and family members in this manner.

The PTI Chairman demanded that the state change its conduct, stating that the country currently needed neither further confrontation, tension nor chaos, but an immediate end to political tensions. He argued that the state should immediately alter its aggressive approach because they were not making any illegitimate demands; they were only seeking justice under the Constitution and law and raising their voice peacefully for that justice.
