BBC Visits Hospital in Kathmandu as Families Wait for News
The BBC Nepali’s Shreejana Shrestha is in a hospital in Kathmandu, where some survivors are being flown in by helicopter for treatment after a deadly flash flood on the Nepal-Tibet border killed at least 150 people, with hundreds still missing.
According to Nepal’s tourist board, the missing include:
- Over 100 from India
- 54 from the US
- 33 from the UK
- More than 100 from Nepal itself
