Body of Drowned Boy Recovered From Sawan River

RAWALPINDI: The body of a 16-year-old boy who drowned in the Sawan River near Shapur village on Adyala Road was recovered during a rescue operation.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, two emergency vehicles were dispatched to the site after receiving information that a boy identified as Khalil zakir had drowned in the river. Although the initial report was not confirmed, rescue teams launched a search operation based on the information received.
The body was subsequently recovered from the river. Further details regarding the identity of the deceased and the circumstances leading to the drowning were not immediately available.
