Nepali Army Confirms Rescue Efforts
A Nepali army spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday the rescue of:
- 118 Nepalese citizens (44 females and 74 males)
- One British male
as rescue operations continue across the region.
Missing Britons in Nepal
Previously reported, 33 British nationals are missing in Nepal due to the floods. Over 3,900 people remain unaccounted for, with many believed trapped in mud-filled tunnels at hydropower sites along the Trishuli River.
International Rescue Operation
The rescue mission is led by a joint effort between Chinese and Nepalese military personnel. Experts from India, Korea, and Australia are also contributing to the operation.
