Brothers Club Wins Independence Day Women Basketball Championship

Eight women basketball clubs from Peshawar and surrounding areas participated in the tournament, celebrating Independence Day. Throughout, players showcased remarkable skills, discipline, teamwork, and a competitive spirit. The final was an intense battle between Brothers Club and Friends Club, both displaying impressive performances.
Brothers Club maintained its composure during crucial moments, securing the victory and lifting the championship trophy. Principal of City Girls College Gulbahar, Professor Rabia Sikandar, awarded trophies to the winning Brothers Club and runners-up Friends Club.
In her closing remarks, Professor Sikandar emphasized the importance of sports in promoting physical fitness and fostering discipline, teamwork, self-confidence, and a positive attitude among young people. She congratulated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Basketball Association on the successful conduct of the Women’s Basketball Championship.
