Burewala Police Arrest Five Suspects, Recover Hashish and Four Illegal Pistols
Burewala Police conducted separate operations on Monday, arresting five suspects and recovering 520 grams of hashish and four illegal pistols. This action was initiated under the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari Tassawar Iqbal.
According to police, a suspected drug pusher named Imran was arrested during one operation, with 520 grams of hashish seized from his possession. This raid is part of ongoing efforts to combat narcotics sales and distribution in the area.
In separate incidents, four other suspects—Shahzaib, Umar Ali, Ilyas, and Siddique—were apprehended for possessing illegal weapons. Four 30-bore pistols were taken into custody during these operations.
SHO Model Town Police Burewala Khalid Mahmood Chauhan registered cases against the arrested individuals and is continuing investigations. Further legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
