Catherine visits hospital where she received cancer treatment after charity climb

Catherine, Princess of Wales, has visited the London hospital where she was treated for cancer, following her successful charity climb in June.
The princess completed the Three Peaks Challenge—climbing England’s, Scotland’s and Wales’ highest peaks within 24 hours—to raise funds for the Royal Marsden in London. The exact amount raised is yet to be disclosed but will go towards a new complementary healing unit at the hospital.
During her visit on Friday, Catherine met with medical staff and patients, including those with breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and brain tumours. She expressed her empathy for their experiences, stating that cancer treatment significantly impacts both patients and their families.
The princess has been open about her own cancer diagnosis, announcing in March 2024 that she was receiving treatment, and later sharing in January 2025 that she was in remission. Her personal journey has inspired her to support others facing similar challenges.
The visit follows Catherine’s husband, Prince William’s, support of a suicide prevention project launch in Liverpool on Thursday.
