Central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Procession Held In Talagang With Religious Fervor
Talagang, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) A central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession was taken out in Talagang with religious zeal and devotion to mark the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A large number of devotees, religious scholars, Ulema, citizens, and representatives of various religious organizations and Milad committees participated. The atmosphere was filled with Durood-o-Salam and slogans expressing love and reverence for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The procession routes were adorned with colorful lights, banners, and embellishments. Reception camps, food stalls, and Sabeels were set up at different locations to accommodate the participants. Parliamentary Secretary for Excise and Taxation Punjab and MPA Malik Shehryar Awan, MPA Malik Falak Sher Awan, former MNA Sardar Mansoor Hayat Tamman, and Assistant Commissioner Talagang Muhammad Suleman Mansha also took part.
Addressing the participants, religious scholars emphasized the importance of adhering to the Seerah and the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), stating that Islam provides comprehensive guidance for all aspects of human life, from political and social affairs to culture and economics. They encouraged people to embrace the exemplary character and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in their daily lives to foster peace, harmony, and brotherhood in society.
Elaborate security arrangements were implemented across Talagang to ensure the peaceful conduct of the celebrations. Police and other relevant departments maintained a presence along the procession route, while necessary measures were taken to facilitate the devotees’ movement. The central procession followed its designated route and concluded peacefully at Jamia Masjid Treeran.
