CEO Health Inspects THQ Hospital
GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 11, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Dr Syed Aitizaz Ahmed, along with Deputy District Health Officer Dr Muhammad Usman Naeem, inspected Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Major Shabbir Sharif Kunjah and reviewed healthcare arrangements.
According to an official source, the CEO reviewed the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), including outpatient (OPD), inpatient (IPD), emergency, and other services. He directed Medical Superintendent Dr Syed Ghamkhar Hussain to make the system fully operational within four days.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the hospital’s cleanliness, the CEO instructed the administration to take immediate measures to improve sanitation standards. He also took notice of incomplete registration of children at the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) counter and issued a show-cause notice to the concerned fixed-site vaccinator (LHV).
Later, the CEO sought direct feedback from patients about their treatment and medical facilities. The patients expressed satisfaction with the availability of medicines and healthcare services.
The CEO directed the hospital administration to ensure effective implementation of departmental instructions, improve cleanliness, and provide quality healthcare facilities to patients.
