Ceremony Held To Mark 61st Anniversary Of Chaudhry Aksar Shaheed
GUJARKHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 08, 2026) | Civic leaders, civil and defence officials, and local residents gathered in Gujar Khan to commemorate the 61st martyrdom anniversary of Chaudhry Akhtar Shaheed. Organized by the martyr’s son, Chaudhry Safdar, the event featured speeches from prominent political and social figures, including Zumarad Khan, Abdullah Hameed Gul, Syed Asif Shah Mashhadi, former district nazim Raja Javed Ikhlas, and Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti.
Speaking at the gathering, Chaudhry Hamza, the martyr’s great-grandson, along with civil and defence representatives, honoured Chaudhry Aksar’s dedication to the nation and emphasized the need to educate younger generations about national defence sacrifices. Other speakers advocated for integrating the legacy of state martyrs into ongoing civic education rather than limiting commemorations to annual ceremonies.
The event concluded with joint prayers for Pakistan’s stability and security, as well as higher rankings for national martyrs.
