Experts advise against keeping mobile data active at all times. Mobile data remains active on many phones, even when Wi-Fi is available, keeping the device connected to cellular signals.
When enabled, this feature consumes extra battery power as the phone switches between Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.
Disabling mobile data prevents this unnecessary battery drain, though there’s a brief delay (around 10 seconds) when entering areas without Wi-Fi.
