Music Photography Awards 2026 Shortlist
Striking images of Oasis’s reunion tour and Charli XCX bringing Brat to Glastonbury Festival are among the nominees at this year’s Abbey Road Music Photography Awards.
The awards, which considered works by over 24,500 submissions from 42 countries, announced a shortlist of 40 finalists across eight categories on Tuesday.
Kendrick Lamar, Fontaines DC, Tame Impala, and Sombr are also featured in the shots, while other images capture stars including FKA Twigs.
All finalist photographs will be displayed at Outernet London from September 8 to 14. Voting for the Music Moment of the Year award is available online and in-person during the exhibition.
The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at Abbey Road Studios on September 24.
Head judge, Rankin, said:
"2026 feels like the strongest year yet. The quality of work entered was genuinely exceptional – not just technically brilliant, but full of energy, emotion, and a real point of view."
This year’s guest category celebrates 50 years of punk. Roberta Bayley and Masayoshi Sukita will receive special recognition.
The judging panel includes artists from music and photography worlds, such as Nile Rogers and Raye.
