Chiniot DPO Reviews Public Complaints, Orders Speedy Investigation Of Key Cases
CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 01, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to address public grievances, District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif on Tuesday held a meeting with complainants of important cases at his office. The relevant Station House Officers (SHOs), investigation officers and other police officials were also present.
The DPO listened to the complainants’ concerns, reviewed the action taken by police and sought detailed briefings from investigation officers on the progress of their respective cases.
During the meeting, Dr. Naveed Atif directed the investigation officers to make effective use of modern technology, human intelligence and all available resources to trace and arrest the accused. He stressed that investigations should be conducted transparently and cases disposed of strictly on merit, ensuring that no injustice was caused to any party.
On this occasion, the DPO said police officers must remain responsive to citizens and address their genuine complaints without delay. He urged investigation officers to perform their duties professionally, strengthen evidence-based investigations and ensure timely progress in cases.
Dr. Naveed Atif further stated that citizens facing any police-related complaint could approach his office without hesitation. He assured that all available resources would be utilized to provide justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of citizens.
