Chiniot Police Holds Training Workshop To Strengthen Investigation Skills
Chiniot Police organized a specialized training workshop at the DPO Office on Tuesday, on the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Karim, with the aim of enhancing the professional capabilities of police personnel and improving the quality of investigations.
SP Investigation Muhammad Usman Malik and Deputy District Prosecutor Ali Ehtesham led the session, along with investigation officers from across the district.
During the workshop, participants delved into:
- Key aspects of investigating cases under the Anti-Rape Act, narcotics-related offences and other significant criminal cases.
- Identifying shortcomings in investigation procedures and improving investigative standards.
- Ensuring cases were prepared in accordance with legal requirements.
- The professional preservation and effective presentation of statements, evidence, and other materials collected during investigations.
District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif emphasized the department’s commitment to boosting the professional skills of police officers and strengthening the investigation process. He noted that quality investigation and solid evidence are crucial for securing convictions and ensuring justice for offenders.
