Chiniot Traffic Police Launch Road Safety Drive To Promote Safe Journeys
Chiniot Traffic Police are launching a road safety drive to ensure safer journeys for citizens, aligning with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision. This initiative is being led by the Traffic Police Education Unit under the supervision of DSP Traffic Khurram Shahzad.
As part of the campaign:
- Sub-Inspector Syed Ali Raza delivered an awareness lecture at the Police Driving School, covering traffic regulations and road safety measures.
- An awareness walk was organized to highlight the importance of responsible road use.
- Citizens were informed about driving license procedures, dangers of overspeeding, lane discipline, and other traffic rules.
- Awareness pamphlets on road safety and traffic regulations were distributed.
District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif emphasized the importance of strict adherence to traffic rules for the safety of all road users. He encouraged citizens to obtain valid licenses, follow rules, and prevent minor children from driving.
