Citizens Deprived Of Cash, Valuables In Seven Incidents
Citizens were deprived of their vehicles, cash, and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in at least seven incidents of street crime that took place last night. According to the police, all the street crimes were registered, and a search for the thieves and robbers was underway.
Incidents Overview:
- Sadar Police Station: Three armed robbers snatched a mobile phone and cash worth Rs60,000 from a doctor, Nasir Hussain.
- Sheikh Fazil Police Station: As many as four incidents of robbery and theft were reported within a single night. Thieves stole motorbikes from the houses of Liaqat Ali and Naveed Butt, and another motorcycle was stolen while parked at the katchery.
- Another Incident: Thieves broke into Muhammad Mushtaq’s home and stole cash worth Rs350,000.
Locals’ Protest:
Locals protested over the rising incidents of burglary and theft, demanding that authorities recover their stolen goods and arrest the culprits.
