Faisalabad Cleans Up: Educational Outreach
Faisalabad, September 09, 2026 (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – The quest for a cleaner Faisalabad is expanding beyond public spaces and sanitation efforts into the realm of education. The Suthra Punjab Agency (SPA) has initiated a drive to instill a sense of environmental responsibility in children, cultivating a generation that views civic duty as an integral part of their lives.
Managing Director SPA Abid Hussain Bhatti recently visited Divisional Public School & College, engaging with students on the paramount importance of cleanliness, proper waste management, and fostering a healthy environment. He emphasized that:
"A clean environment is the bedrock of a thriving, vibrant society. This responsibility doesn’t solely rest on institutions; it’s a collective duty for every individual."
Bhatti encouraged students to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit, avoid littering public spaces, and actively contribute to maintaining their surroundings’ cleanliness. He noted that achieving a clean Faisalabad is not merely aspirational but achievable through shared responsibility, public participation, and consistent effort from all societal sectors.
Principal of Divisional Public School & College Aalia Ayub Chattha welcomed the SPA’s awareness campaign, commending its efforts to foster environmental consciousness among students. The event also involved distributing awareness pamphlets among students, reinforcing key messages about cleanliness, responsible waste disposal, and environmental protection.
