CM Balochistan Condemns Terrorist Firing Incident At Police Check Post In Mastung’s Kanak

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police check post in the Kanak area of Mastung, vowing that those targeting law enforcement personnel would receive no concession and that the fight against terrorism would continue with full force.

The chief minister expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of police constable Ezzatullah in the firing and paid tribute to his sacrifice, while extending condolences to his family. He also prayed for the early recovery of injured policeman Naseebullah and directed the relevant authorities to ensure he received the best possible medical treatment.

Bugti said the Balochistan Police and security forces were making great sacrifices to protect peace in the province, stressing that the sacrifice of Ezzatullah would not go in vain. He warned that every attempt to disrupt peace through terrorism would be met with a strong response, with no weakness or leniency shown towards terrorists and their facilitators.

He said the people of Balochistan and law enforcement agencies were united in the fight against terrorism and expressed confidence that continued sacrifices and sustained efforts by state institutions would further improve the security situation and eliminate terrorist elements from the province. The provincial government would continue taking all necessary measures to protect citizens and law enforcement personnel. He vowed that terrorists, wherever they were hiding, would be traced and brought to justice.

Bugti prayed for the elevation of the martyr's ranks, patience for his bereaved family and the speedy recovery of the injured policeman.
