CM Bugti Vows Zero Tolerance for Job Selling in Balochistan

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – A high-level meeting of the Secretaries Committee, chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, reviewed the performance of provincial departments, administrative matters, recruitment processes, and the physical and financial progress of the Annual Development Programme (ADP).
Attended by Minister for Planning and Development Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, along with secretaries of all departments, the meeting addressed critical issues related to government operations.
CM Bugti’s Stance on Job Selling:
The chief minister declared a zero-tolerance policy for job selling in the province, warning that anyone found involved will face strict legal consequences. He assured impartial investigations and stressed that no compromise would be made on the employment rights of Balochistan’s youth.
Addressing Irregularities in Forest Department Recruitments
Taking strict notice of complaints regarding irregularities in Forest Department recruitments, Bugti ordered a high-level probe. He reiterated his commitment to merit, transparency, and the rule of law, stating that personal connections will not influence official matters.
Emphasizing Impartial Governance:
Bugti noted that even his own family members have never interfered in government affairs, underscoring his dedication to impartial governance. He expressed confidence in the officers’ ability to lead Balochistan responsibly and stressed the need for strict oversight of recruitment processes.
Directives for Administrative Affairs and Recruitment:
- Complete implementation of government orders.
- Ensure daily administrative affairs and recruitment processes are transparent and merit-based.
- Immediate enforcement of an approved AI-driven merit-based recruitment policy for posts above Grade 5, with local test conduction.
- No tolerance for nepotism or committee influence in Class-IV post recruitments.
All secretaries were directed to take an oath to uphold these principles, emphasizing the importance of integrity and fairness in government service.
