CM Maryam Pays Tribute to PAF Martyrs, Veterans, Shaheens on Air Force Day
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Monday paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and saluted its Shaheens and valiant personnel on Air Force Day.
In her special message, the chief minister offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the strength and well-being of their bereaved families.
CM Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the professional capabilities and exemplary courage of the PAF’s Shaheens, stating that PAF heroes, including Shaheed Rashid Minhas, had written remarkable chapters of courage, bravery, and valour in the skies.
She noted that in May this year, the Pakistan Air Force demonstrated its professional excellence by shooting down eight enemy fighter aircraft, once again making the nation proud and raising the green and white flag with honour.
The chief minister described Air Force Day as a symbol of national unity, unwavering resolve, and the spirit of patriotism. She added that the sacrifices and services of the Pakistan Air Force in safeguarding the country’s airspace would always be remembered, and the nation saluted its martyrs, veterans, and brave personnel for their invaluable services to Pakistan.
