CM Team Takes Action Over Nankana Hospital Lapses - UrduPoint

On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a CM Inspection Team, headed by Special Assistant Shoaib Mirza, conducted a late-night inspection of DHQ Hospital Nankana Sahib and reviewed the facilities provided to patients.
The team visited various sections of the hospital and interacted with patients, their attendants, and hospital staff. They found:
- Satisfactory provision of medicines.
- Fully operational medical equipment and machinery.
However, they also observed:
- Unsatisfactory cleanliness levels. Five individuals responsible for poor cleanliness were dismissed from service, followed by a complete deep clean of the hospital per the team’s instructions.
- Overcharging in parking fees. The parking contractor was arrested and an FIR (First Information Report) registered against him on the team's orders.
