Collective Efforts Needed to Eliminate Corruption: Commissioner Hazara
Commissioner Hazara Division Shahidullah Khan has said that the fight against corruption is a collective national responsibility and cannot be left solely to accountability institutions. He emphasized that honesty, integrity, accountability, and transparency are essential for building a strong and developed society.
He made these remarks while addressing an anti-corruption seminar organized by the District Administration Abbottabad and the District Youth Office at Jalal Baba Auditorium on Tuesday.

NAB KP Director Khitab Gul Afridi also spoke, highlighting that corruption is a global issue with countries worldwide establishing laws and institutions to combat it. NAB is pursuing its vision of a corruption-free Pakistan through accountability measures and awareness campaigns. He mentioned:
- Anti-corruption awareness programs conducted in schools, colleges, and universities.
- Establishment of Character Building Societies to promote ethical values among youth.
- Over 500,000 complaints received by NAB, all processed legally after thorough scrutiny.
Students actively participated through speeches and tableaux aimed at raising anti-corruption awareness and promoting ethical values. An awareness walk concluded the seminar, reaffirming participants’ commitment to transparency and an honest society.
