Commissioner inspects various under-construction city roads

The Municipal Corporation Faisalabad has completed the construction, repair, and maintenance of a road from Government College University, Faisalabad to Susan Road before the deadline. It will ease travel facilities for students, faculty, and the general public.

Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh visited the road on Wednesday and issued instructions to the Municipal Corporation for:

• Lane marking
• Removing roadside rubbish
• Maintaining manholes’ level

He also inspected an under-construction road from Koh-e-Noor Chowk, Jaranwala Road to GC Women University and directed completion by October 22. He further visited a link road from Canal Road to FESCO, with work starting September 12.

The Commissioner stated that link roads are being improved to facilitate citizens.
