Commissioner Karachi Briefed About Ongoing Development Work In Red Zone

Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi chaired a meeting to review the progress of development projects for the beautification of roads and their surroundings in the Red Zone, as well as the rehabilitation of various roads being carried out by KMC TMAs KDA and Water and Sewerage Corporation.
According to a press release issued, Deputy Commissioner South Javed Nabi Khoso, Deputy Commissioner East Nasrullah Abbasi, Municipal Commissioner of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Abrar Jaffar, Director Development Naseem Bhutto, Town Municipal Administration officials and other concerned officers attended the meeting and briefed the Commissioner about the progress.
The Commissioner directed the concerned officers to make concerted efforts, accelerate the pace of work, and ensure that the projects are completed at the earliest and within the stipulated timelines.
The meeting was informed that the beautification and development work at Kabootar Chowrangi would be completed this month. It was also briefed that work was underway on road carpeting and rehabilitation, horticulture and beautification work.
