Commissioner Reviews Arrangements for Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Celebration

Karachi, August 25, 2026 (APP – UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News): Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hasan Naqvi, visited Darul Uloom Mujaddidia Naeemia Malir on Tuesday to oversee preparations for the procession celebrating Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) in Malir.

He met with Mufti Muhammad Jan Naeemi, Chief Administrator, and Mufti Muhammad Nazeer Jan Naeemi, Chief Organizer, along with other dignitaries. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Malir Samiullah Nisar Sheikh, Municipal Commissioner Imran Nazir, Assistant Commissioner Sami Ali, senior police officers, and officials from relevant departments.

The Commissioner learned that the procession, originating from Darul Uloom Mujaddidia Naeemia on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, will be a grand event, traditionally showcasing the city’s celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. A substantial number of participants are expected. The route will pass through Mohabbat Nagar, Bakra Peeri, Malir 15, and Saudabad, culminating back at Darul Uloom.

The Commissioner, according to a press release, will also take part in the procession. Samiullah Nisar Sheikh informed the gathering about special arrangements for security, cleanliness, traffic management, and street lighting.

Mr. Naqvi directed Mr. Nisar to ensure thorough preparations, emphasizing robust security, seamless traffic flow, and alternative arrangements. He instructed officials to finalize plans at an immediate meeting, highlighting the need for comprehensive facilities.
