Commissioner, RPO Reviews Security and Cleanliness Arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi Procession
GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 26, 2026) | Muhammad Ali (Commissioner Gujranwala Division) and Khurram Shehzad Haider Warraich (Regional Police Officer, Gujranwala/Gujrat Region) participated in the central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession from Chowk Shah Wilayat to Chowk Pakistan here on Wednesday, the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
According to an official source, the officers joined the procession organized by the Central Anjuman Naujawanan-e-Milad Committee and cut a cake at Chowk Pakistan to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). They also addressed the participants and reviewed arrangements concerning security, cleanliness, and maintenance of law and order during the celebrations.
The officers directed concerned departments to continue monitoring arrangements throughout the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, ensuring timely resolution of any issues. The procession organizers appreciated the security, cleanliness, and other arrangements made by the district administration, police, and relevant departments.
They congratulated participants on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and stressed the need to promote unity, brotherhood, peace, and harmony while observing religious occasions peacefully.
