Counter-Terrorism and Investigations in Focus as SSP Saud Reviews CTD Islamabad Operations
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Islamabad, Saud Khan, chaired an important meeting of all branch in-charges, reviewing counter-terrorism measures, ongoing investigations, and security matters.
An official told APP on Wednesday that during the meeting, officers briefed SSP Saud on the performance of their respective branches and the measures being taken in their areas of responsibility.
SSP Saud directed the officers to further strengthen effective operational strategies, timely exchange of information, and professional capabilities to improve the department’s overall performance.
He emphasized close coordination among CTD branches and directed officers to ensure that counter-terrorism, investigation, and security-related responsibilities were carried out effectively and professionally.
