Couple Killed In Suspected Revenge Shooting In Burewala
UrduPoint (September 09, 2026) – A man and his wife were allegedly shot dead over an old enmity in Chak No. 203/EB within the jurisdiction of Gaggo Mandi Police Station on Wednesday.
According to preliminary information, the deceased were identified as 75-year-old Ali Muhammad and his 65-year-old wife, Surayya Bibi.
Sources said that an old enmity had been continuing between the victims and the alleged attackers. Earlier, Mazhar Baghdad and his father, Baghdad, had also reportedly been killed in connection with the same dispute.
According to sources, Tayyab, Shahid, and Zahid, brothers of Mazhar Baghdad, allegedly opened fire on Ali Muhammad and his wife, killing them on the spot.
Initial reports suggest that the alleged attackers may have carried out the shooting to avenge the earlier killings of their brother and father.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation. Police are also gathering further information regarding the motive and the identities and involvement of the alleged attackers.
