CTD SP Khalid Reviews Security Deployment At Bari Imam, Orders Heightened Vigilance
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Aug, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Khalid Mehmood Awan, on Tuesday visited Bari Imam and reviewed security arrangements and deployment of police personnel.
An ICT Police official told APP that the SP CTD received a briefing from officers deployed at the site regarding:
- Security arrangements
- Duty assignments
- Their respective responsibilities
During the visit, Khalid Mehmood Awan inspected the security deployment and directed officers to:
- Remain fully alert
- Perform their duties with professionalism and responsibility
- Maintain close vigilance
- Ensure effective implementation of existing security measures
The SP CTD also issued necessary directions to the officers regarding their duties and stressed coordinated efforts to maintain a secure environment at Bari Imam.
