ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 07th Sep, 2026) Cultural Foundation, a cultural centre under the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), has revealed its highly anticipated September–December 2026 season. The season promises a diverse range of international performances, art exhibitions, community events, and the debut of the literary programme, El Marmas.
Performing Arts Highlights:
- Mid-Autumn Festival: A Moonment to Remember (September 17th): Featuring the China National Peking Opera Company in partnership with the Chinese Cultural Centre.
- Dance of the Emerald Isle (September 19-20): Created by former Lord of the Dance star, Chris Hannon.
- Flamenco Romeo and Juliet (September 26th): Presented by Barcelona Flamenco Ballet.
- Jalsat Nights (October 4th): Returning with Emirati artist Muaded Al Kaabi, winner of Najm Al Khaleej 2006.
- Anime Memories (October 17th): A live concert celebrating anime soundtracks.
- SCHLiNGEL ABU DHABI (October 21-24th): An international children's and youth film festival in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region.
- Tenors of the XXI Century: World Hits About Love (October 24th): Featuring opera arias, tangos, and international classics.

- The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (November 6-7th): A puppet show featuring over 75 puppets.
- S4K's Macbeth (November 15th): A child-friendly musical adaptation of the classic play.
- Thikra: Night of Remembering (November 20-21st): Presented by Akram Khan Company, blending Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance.
- Enrico Macias Concert (December 12th): Celebrating six decades of music.
Visual Arts Exhibitions:
- Zuleya 2026 – Year of the Family Exhibition Series and Auction (October 15, 2026 - January 15, 2027): Exploring family unity through artworks, talks, and workshops, with proceeds supporting FBMI's health and education initiatives.
- Shaikha Al Mazrou Solo Exhibition (November 12, 2026 - March 15, 2027): Showcasing existing sculptures and new commissions.
