Cutlery Exports Increase 17.68% to $5.066 Million
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) The exports of cutlery witnessed an increase of 17.68% during the first month of the current financial year 2026-27, compared to the same period last year.
The cutlery exports from the country reached US $5.066 million in July 2026, up from US $4.305 million in July 2025, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
On a month-on-month basis, cutlery exports rose by 17.21% in July 2026, compared to US$4.322 million in June 2026, as per PBS data.
It’s worth noting that overall exports from Pakistan increased by 9.54% during the month under review, compared to the previous year. Exports in July 2026 were recorded at $2.939 billion, up from $2.683 billion in July 2025.
Meanwhile, imports into the country also rose by 17.99%, growing from $5.837 billion last year to $6.887 billion during July 2026.
