DC Appreciates Departments, Citizens for Successful Eid Milad Celebrations
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 27, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sargodha, Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, on Thursday appreciated the district administration, law-enforcement agencies, religious scholars, traders, citizens, and media for ensuring peaceful and well-organized Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations across the district.
According to a press release, the DC stated that effective coordination among government departments played a crucial role in maintaining a peaceful and orderly environment during processions, Milad gatherings, and other religious programs. He expressed gratitude to the police, Rescue 1122, Health Department, FESCO, Sui Gas, WASA, Municipal Corporation, District Council, Suthra Punjab Agency, and other departments for their contributions to security, sanitation, traffic management, and essential services.
Cleanliness arrangements were ensured along procession routes, while water stalls, sweets, special lighting, and other facilities were provided at various locations, guided by the directions of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The DC also commended citizens, traders, religious scholars, volunteers, and the media for their cooperation and positive roles in facilitating the smooth conduct of the celebrations. He assured that the administration would continue to prioritize public facilitation and make arrangements for future religious and national occasions with the same commitment and sense of responsibility.
