DC Battagram Orders Early Restoration of Rain-Hit Areas

DC Battagram, Muhammad Shoaib, has directed relevant departments to expedite relief, rehabilitation, and road restoration activities in areas affected by recent heavy rains and landslides.

Visit to Affected Areas

On September 25, Shoaib, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) and Assistant Commissioner Battagram, visited Kand Allai, one of the worst-hit areas. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family after inspecting a flood-affected house where two children lost their lives.

He also examined a blocked road due to a landslide and ordered the Communication and Works Department to immediately restore the road and reopen it for traffic. Shoaib visited other affected houses, distributing essential relief items, and assured traders of the district administration's support.

Priority Relief and Rehabilitation

Muhammad Shoaib emphasized completing relief and rehabilitation activities promptly to restore road connectivity, normal traffic, and public facilities in the affected areas.
