DC Chairs Meeting to Revive Dialysis Centre in Mirpurkhas

A meeting was held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas, Nawab Sameer Hussain Laghari, to discuss measures for making the Dialysis Centre established at Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas fully functional.
Attendees:
- Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Nadeem Ahmed Baloch
- Members of Anjuman Falah-o-Bahbood-e-Insaniyat: Haji Muhammad Umar Bughio, Chaudhry Ehsan-ul-Haq Arain and Azhar Karim Jilani
- CEO of Tharparkar Motors: Muhammad Riaz
- Professor Abdul Hameed Sheikh
- District Health Officer Mirpurkhas: Dr. Sandeep Kumar
- Medical Superintendent District Headquarters Hospital: Dr. Hemji Chauhan
- Dialysis Centre In-charge: Dr. Umm-e-Rabab Arain
- Other concerned officers
Decisions:
- Letters will be sent to members who missed the meeting.
- Monthly meetings of the committee will be held.
- Afzal Fazal Memon will serve as the secretary of the committee.
- Committee members will raise funds for the centre, with a focus on individuals committed to serving humanity.
- After approval of funds by the Government of Sindh, the Medical Superintendent will manage the centre’s operational expenses.
The meeting resolved to address all challenges facing the centre and ensure its full operational capability, requiring approximately 500 dialysis sessions and essential medicines per month.
