DC Conducts Surprise Inspection Of Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic

BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) In line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s vision of a ‘Healthy Punjab’ and to ensure the provision of quality and timely healthcare services to citizens, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza paid a surprise visit to the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic established at 24-BC, Yazman Road.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner reviewed:
- The medical facilities being provided at the clinic
- Administrative arrangements
- Basic amenities available to patients
- Cleanliness arrangements
- Duty roster and attendance register in the doctors’ room
- The stock of medicines available, checking their expiry dates, and examining the process for dispensing medicines to patients.
Syed Hassan Raza directed the concerned officers and doctors to:
- Ensure timely and uninterrupted provision of medicines to patients
- Maintain effective cleanliness at the clinic daily
- Regularly monitor medical and administrative affairs
He emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated in matters concerning patient convenience and healthcare service provision.
