DC Inspects Polio Campaign In Garhi Yasin, Shikarpur - UrduPoint

Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Shakeel Ahmed Abro, visited various hospitals, areas, and villages in Taluka Garhi Yasin and Taluka Shikarpur on the first day of the ongoing polio eradication campaign. Accompanied by N-Stop Officer Dr. Imtiaz Hussain Maitlo, he monitored the vaccination drive and assessed the performance of polio teams.
During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner:
- Briefed vaccination teams on the importance of their duties and diligently ensuring every eligible child receives polio drops.
- Visited areas and villages of Noshero Abro and Shikarpur Union Council-I, inspecting the field performance of vaccination teams.
- Personally administered polio drops to children and marked their fingers as part of the campaign.
- Verified the coverage of the campaign by checking the finger markings of children previously vaccinated.
Abro directed teams to remain vigilant, ensuring no child in the surrounding areas is left without receiving polio drops. He emphasized the importance of effective monitoring, teamwork, and complete coverage for polio eradication success.
