DC Reviews Child Welfare Arrangements at Child Protection Bureau
DC Syed Hassan Raza from Bahawalpur visited the office of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, following the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz for child welfare. During his visit, he assessed the facilities provided to children at the institution and their overall well-being.
Raza interacted with the children, inquiring about their educational activities and daily routines. He reviewed their education, teaching methods, and the standard of education offered. The DC directed officials to enhance learning capabilities and promote healthy activities.
He also received an update on arrangements for food and nutrition, daily needs, cleanliness, and other basic facilities. Raza inspected residential areas, meals, sleeping arrangements, and recreational facilities. Ziaur Rehman, In-charge of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, provided a briefing.
The DC emphasized the need for a safe environment and prompt addressing of children’s needs. He stressed maintaining high standards in education, healthcare, accommodation, food, and recreation. He prioritized their welfare and protection, ensuring effective monitoring.
